Honoring our Truth

I was at the Story Circle Network conference "Stories of the Heart" in Austin February 5-7. During the last workshop I attended on Sunday morning one woman stood up and shared that she discovered that there is a difference between knowing our truth and honoring our truth. I know that I have been guilty of that for far to long...so my new mantra....Honor My Truth!

I'm in to the blog... yayyyy!  Thank you Kathy and Aziza for the workshop, Spellbreaking.   I enjoyed the opportunity that the two days gave me to journal again... something I had put aside for the past few months due to family 'demands'.  Morning pages are a wonderful way to put down on paper anything and everything that comes to mind.  Right now the morning meditations and mandalas are taking that time but serving the same purpose... slowing down my chipmunky chattering mind. 
The challenge will be to take the remembered and newly learned skills back to my other life.

Week End Workshop

Last weekend was an eye opener for me. I was excited about learning something new and you provided that. Trust and sharing is not something I do easily but I was quite the blabber mouth last week end. Thanks for creating a safe place to speak and to hear what others said. We were all different but the issues and the pain were real for us all. You were so well prepared and time moved so quickly that I could have continued the process longer.

Things are going well this week. I felt empowered enough to tell someone about an event that had hurt me and felt wronged. WOW! Baby steps but steps non the less.

Look forward to further posts and possible workshops.
